6.5 x 71″ Woven with merino, mohair and silk yarns.
The colors in this scarf remind me of a vineyard as night falls – many shades of deep green, a bit of light green and dark blue, bits of gold, and the sparkle of slanted sunshine on the leaves. I hand-dyed one of the merino yarns in greens and blues, combined it with another merino and a wool with silvery polyester threads – no scratchiness here. Add the mohair/silk yarn for extra softness and warmth, hand twist the fringe, and you have a dense, warm, one of a kind scarf that will keep any winter wind at bay. The scarf is 6-1/2” wide by 71” long and would be great tied under the color of your coat and looped at the front to give your neck a warm, cozy hug.
